The Low Down

Introduction

Corona Direct has been in existence for more than 80 years, and were the first direct insurance provider in Belgium, pioneering a number of new ideas in the market such as pet and car insurance by the kilometer. Now they wanted to branch out again, and disrupt the insurance market by becoming the first true customer company in the inusrance sector.

The Challenge

To create an online platform that allowed Corona’s customers to self serve when it comes to their insurance products and services. This self serving community needed to provide a platform to continually engage with its customers, through targeted marketing and upselling of additional products and services.

The Solutions

Self-service portal

Firstly, we developed a self service portal on the SFDC platform using Community Cloud. In the self-serivce portal customers are able to log in, subscribe to a new insurance policy and upload necessary documents.

Fully digital experience

Customers can maintain their own insurance portfolios online, check out new products and even get simulations for those products powered by Salesforce. A subscription service was made available to customers with a simple digital signature, provided by one of our ISV partners.

Integrated service

The self-service portal is integrated with email and campaign management systems (Marketing Cloud). Next to that 4C also provided IOS and Android App integrations with the Caro App. This application coaches drivers to improve their driving by providing personalised feedback and tips.
