Introduction

Central Markets are a fully regulated stockbroker. Their goal is to develop meaningful and enduring relationships with their clients, whilst helping to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

The Challenge

Central Markets were using multiple platforms for online trading, broker back office, risk management and contact management. This made it very difficult for a broker to request any change in any one of these systems because unless and until all the vendors were compatible with each other’s structure or API’s, systems could not move in a productive environment. Central Markets had implemented Salesforce, but felt they weren’t extracting maximum value from their org and wanted to do a lot more with the leading CRM. They approached 4C to help them evolve their Salesforce Org, and took on one of our Salesfocrce Managed Service packages.

The Solutions

Centralised reporting hub

Working with our Salesforce Managed Service team, we helped Central Markets build out their Salesforce Org to be used as a centralised reporting hub, bringing together data from four different trading platforms and allowing rapid and responsive management reporting without the hassle of manual data collation.

Moved payroll architecture

A second key project was moving Central Market’s payroll architecture onto Salesforce.com using native functionality to automate, calculate and build a suite of reporting that is emailed to payroll once a month.

Developed Saleforce functionality

We developed a process that allowed Central Markets to identify customers of theirs who had potential to fall non-compliant. This allowed Central Markets to be proactive in their tackling of non-compliance.
